A Wife Gets All Apologetic And Sappy
Remember me calling my husband a grumpy old buzzard? Remember me complaining about my laptop. Actually it isn’t all the laptops fault, if I would use the mousepad it would alleviate part of it. Well let me tell you what he did that made me feel REALLY bad.
We went shopping for groceries @ that big retailer that employs half the free world only they aren’t really free if they work there. JUST KIDDING, I used to work there. Anyway we have been keeping our eye out for a new tv for the truck, the old one sort of fell on the floor and we have other small ones but he just didn’t put one back in here. So we are in the electronics dept, (the dog just took off with the mouse I swear) and we start down the computer aisle. (a bit of background is required here, I once bought 3 laptops and my big desktop I have now in 3 months time. We had a business but STILL). I tell my husband I am not allowed in the laptop aisle or computer aisle ever. He says why? I say you know why, BAD things happen when I go here. I said remember when I bought all of our computers in a few months and you told me NEVER to go to a computer store again?
We didn’t buy one but he was seriously looking. We really don’t have the money to spare, try $2000 for license and stick a few more on there for another bill and we just got through paying that much for the last repair. But that was SO sweet of him to go look for one. And here I was thinking he was the root of all evil. BTW that was the FIRST time we had ever looked buying @ a computer together in 18 years of marriage.
And now I feel like a durned idiot for cursing him in the previous post but not enough to waste a perfectly good post!
Well, just to keep you from completely feeling like a turd for trashing the hubby, REMEMBER THIS:
He didn’t actually BUY you a new computer….he just LOOKED at ‘em.
Maybe he never planned on buying one!
Now, don’t you feel better??
Emotions gotta ebb and flow to keep from getting stagnant though, don’t they?

Kathryn, don’t think I didn’t consider that. We spent the money and more on more truck stuff though. $1000 every time we turn around. Self Employed, yay.

Kristen it is what it’s all about but I felt so bad. He was back to grumpy old buzzard yesterday in SPADES though so that made up for any remorse I had.

TC, reading the comments is almost as much fun as the post. The comedy team sounds like hubby and I. My guy doesn’t mind me walking down the computer isle, it when I get on line at Tiger Direct (electronics warehouse) that worries him.

My life was so happy when we stopped @ Frys in Houston, a geek store with computer books, computers, all the dvds you could think of, new phones, kitchen appliances……I bought computer books.
I am forbidden computer and book stores, I do like clothes but I can control myself there (which is obvious from how I look) it’s the computers and books…….
And now I find out the moodiness is because of blood sugar, there is like this physical reason he is a old grumpy buzzard and I have to have patience with him, how boring.
